HI – I’m Maurie Kay! Like most food bloggers, I love to cook and create new recipes. What may not be like other food bloggers is that I owned and operated my own restaurant for eight years. I loved making delicious dishes for people to enjoy. I became known for my crab cakes (Mentioned in Texas Monthly, and other Local Magazines) and my spice blends (which I sell on this site, at local stores, and trade shows).
This blog is a way to share all the recipes and experiences I have banked up in my life. From the good, the bad, and the ugly (sometimes the ugly recipes turned out to be the best)!
